December is the biggest month for wedding proposals. Sarah Pease, a professional proposal planner in New York, says she usually gets one or two inquiries from nervous grooms to be, but once Thanksgiving rolls around, it's more like one or two a day. The New-York based website says in November and December, they see a 60-percent increase in the number of engagement rings purchased. In fact, 39-percent of all proposals nationwide take place between November and February, with the big 4 dates being Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and Valentine's Day. 16-percent of all newlyweds-- got engaged in December, more then any other month. For guys who want something a little less elaborate, planner Sarah Pease says the old "ring under the tree" trick is still very popular and romantic-- but you'll have to wait another 362 days to pull it off, now.
