Coverage Under Obamacare

Coverage under President Obama's health care law won't be cheap but two private studies suggest premiums “could” be lower for young adults and the elderly ...if they’re willing to take a chance on higher deductibles and copays. The Kaiser Family Foundation and avalere health found that government tax credits would lower the sticker price on insurance policies through new health-care exchanges that begin taking applicants next month. Next year, all Americans will be required to have coverage, or face fines. A growing number of companies are cutting back their workers to part-time so as to avoid having to comply with obamacare. The Obama administration, which is running these healthcare exchanges not expected to release final premiums until close to the Oct. 1 launch date.
