Religious freedom is something we have in America. However, it is a different story overseas. That is why an entire Congressional panel met to discuss the issue over the weekend. They are sending Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to show other countries that they need to open their doors when it comes to letting other religions within their borders.

Congressman and long-time Methodist pastor Emanuel Cleaver says he is confident Mrs. Clinton will keep religious liberty high on the nation's foreign agenda. Republican Trent Franks says the work of Christian missionaries needs to be a priority of the State Department because these organizations often provide life-giving care in emergency situations.
