Congressman Reed Wants Answers Into Obamacare Website Problems

10.29.13 | Bob Price

New York Congressman Tom Reed sits on a Committee that will be grilling federal officials today about the problems plaguing the Obamacare website. The House Ways and Means committee is investigating why the federal government decided to launch the site when they knew it was not proven to work. Reed says he's also concerned about the lack of competition within the exchanges. He refers to a New York Times review that found more than half of the counties in NY being served by the federal exchanges have plans offered by only one or two insurance providers. Reed says President Obama promised there would be more competition when he campaigned on the law. The congressman is also concerned about people who are being dropped from existing health care plans.
