Here's a little known fact about your college health care plan - your son or daughter or even you might be paying for someone else's abortion. There's a new study out that shows half of all colleges in the country offer students health care plans that cover abortions. The study found of those colleges offering school-sponsored plans, 46% cover elective abortions. Two in three schools surveyed also automatically charge student accounts for health care, a plan that is used to cover other student's elective abortions. The group Students for Life conducted the study. SFLA president Kristin Hawkins says students are being forced to pay into health care plans that cover abortions and are paying for their peers’ abortions. She also says that "forcing pro-life college students to pay for other people’s abortions is immoral and a violation of many students’ deeply held values and beliefs."
