It’s been 4 years, but the March Madness College Basketball tournament is back in Buffalo. The NCAA men’s basketball tournament is one of the nation’s biggest sporting events and it leaps into the Queen City this week.  The thousands of out-of-town visitors will mean a 5 million dollar jolt to the local economy. The six games scheduled for Thursday and Saturday in the First Niagara Center mark the fifth time since 2000 that the NCAA has chosen Buffalo as a tournament host. This is their first time hosting the tourney since 2010.  Syracuse will be in action Thursday against Western Michigan.  Ohio State, Dayton, Villanova, Milwaukee, UConn and St. Josephs will all be playing as well.
