Christian Movie Scores In Theatres

  A Christian flick is doing better then the number one movie out by Warner Brothers right now-- "Arthur." The movie "Soul Surfer" had a high per-screen attendance average then "Arthur" and beat out the star-studded film "Your Highness", bringing in 11-million-dollars at the box office last weekend, breaking the top 5 films. Soul Surfer is the true story of teen surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her left arm in a shark attack at age 13. The film follows her struggle and reveals her strong Christian faith and optimism that gets her back on the board. Hamilton, who entered her first surf competition at age eight and won, has gone on to become a pro surfer and competes with some of the best female surfers in the world.
