Christian Mens Addiction Ministry Needs A New Roof

07.29.11 | Sarah Harnisch

A home for men with substance abuse and addiction problems is in need of a new roof and may have to shut down if it doesn't get one.  The Rennovation House in Spencer, New York is putting on a concert in September to raise funds for that roof. Spokesman Dan Longo says they'll take any donation. They even have 10-dollar shingles for sale, to help out.  They need to raise about 30-thousand dollars. Longo says Rennovation House is not just rebuilding lives - it's changing the culture of men with addiction problems. He says "what about the guys in the future-- 2 years, 3 years, 5 years from now-- that need somewhere to go to change lives? With no roof, we can't do that." The benefit concert to raise funds for a new roof is set for September 10th in Nicols Park.  If you want to give, you can find out more by going here.
