(Washington, DC)  --  Dick Cheney is out of intensive care, but remains hospitalized after undergoing heart surgery last month.  His daughter Liz Cheney told "Fox News Sunday" the former vice president could return home this week and hopes to resume his normal activities soon after.  Dick Cheney underwent surgery three weeks ago to have a small pump implanted in his heart.

The 69-year-old Cheney has a history of heart problems, including five heart attacks.  In 1988 he underwent a quadruple bypass surgery to unblock his arteries.  After suffering a fourth heart attack in 2000 he received a stent to open an artery.
