Operation Hang Up is on its way this week for New York. Use the phone while driving, and you could face a 150 dollar fine and 85 dollars in court fees. Starting Wednesday, police will be specifically hunting for those of us that like to talk or text and drive. Violators can get 2 points on their license for talking and three points if they're caught texting. Last year, state police issued more then 20-thousand tickets for texting violations, a four fold increase from the year before. The operation runs through November 25th, this Sunday.
