Cbs Sells All Super Bowl Advertising Slots

CBS has sold out every advertising slot for Sunday's Super Bowl. The network drew sharp criticism in recent weeks for approving a Christian anti-abortion ad while barring an ad featuring a dating website for homosexual men. A 30-second spot runs for about three-million dollars.
The Super Bowl is the largest advertising event of the year and draws in an average of 95-million viewers. A recent Nielsen study shows more Americans enjoy the ads over the actually football game. Last year's advertising revenue earned NBC a record 206-million despite the recession, which kept General Motors and FedEx from running ads.
