(Cape Canaveral, FL)  --  Boeing and a company called Space Adventures have announced an agreement to market commercial rides to low Earth orbit using a capsule that is now in development.  The rocket could launch from Cape Canaveral, Florida, which is good news for the Kennedy Space Center workers losing their jobs with the retirement of the space shuttle fleet.  The capsule would launch aboard Atlas-5 and Delta-4 rockets as well as the Falcon 9 rocket still under development at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.  Launches are expected by 2015.  Space Adventures is the same company that has been launching space tourists to the International Space Station since 2001.
