Bills Explain Bag Policy

09.06.13 | Bob Price

When the Buffalo Bills kick off the regular season Sunday against the New England Patriots, it will be the first game for many Bills fans since new N-F-L bag and purse policy took effect.  The Bills are trying to clear the air on clear bags.  The League says You can bring a clear plastic bag, no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches or a one gallon plastic freezer bag. For ladies, a clutch purse, 4 1/2 inches by 6 1/2 inches are acceptable.  The first 50,000 fans at the gates of Ralph Wilson Stadium will receive an acceptable bag this Sunday. Another change fans can expect is with regards to tailgating.  Funnels and kegs will no longer be allowed at the stadium, and glass bottles are being discouraged to prevent flat tires.
