Apple Yanks Second Christian App From Their Itunes Store
03.24.11 |
Apple has pulled the Christian group Exodus's application from their itunes store. The gay rights group "Truth Wins Out", a play off of Exodus's Love Wins Out campaign, had complained the app denounced homosexuality and offered a gay cure. Exodus said they were all about speaking the truth in love, and offered biblical advice linked to their website for gays and lesbians that wanted a way out. But the app quietly disappeared from Apple's store Wednesday morning. It first appeared in the store in February, and has been the target of an online petition 100-thousand people strong. This is the second "Christian" application to be yanked this year. It's got people of faith saying Apple is discriminating.
