All Pennsylvania Abortion Clinics May Be In For Routine Checks

Legislation is being introduced in the Pennsylvania Senate that would require annual annual inspections at abortion facilities across the state. Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi says people need to be held accountable for the tragedy. He says there's no logical reason that state agencies shouldn't be tracking these facilities. Last week, a doctor who operated an abortion facility in west Philadelphia was charged with eight counts of murder in the death of seven babies and one of his patients.  The abortion clinic in this case had not been inspected since 1993. Pennsylvania law does not provide for licensing of abortion clinics or require annual inspections of the facilities.
