The Federal Trade Commission recently called out the Kellogg’s Company for claiming that Rice Krispies cereal could improve children’s immunity. Sherri gives her take and gives you some healthy breakfast alternatives to start off your day.

Bran Muffins

  • 5 Cups Dry Bran Flakes
  • 5 Cups Oatmeal
  • 3 Cups Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Soda

Mix up and Add

  • 1 Quart Buttermilk (more if you have it -if it’s not soupy)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Melted Butter (cooled)
  • 4 Cups Flour

Bake at 350° for 30 minutes

Batter can be stored in fridge and used to make fresh muffins every morning for up to 30 days.
