Second to the grace and favor of God, Family Life volunteers make this ministry happen.  The people who give freely of their time and energy put the backbone in ministry work.  We couldn't do what we do without them.  Their faces light up other faces.  Their hands bring an evening to life.  Their mouths help minister in the hallways.  And their hearts collectively form the heart of Family Life.

Here's what some of our volunteers have to say about serving:

"Coming to Family Life to volunteer is like coming home to friends and family."

"It is always a blessing to volunteer at Family Life events! I can't wait until we can begin to serve again."

There are plenty of places and mountains of ways to volunteer.  Fundraisers, dinner events, theater performances, youth events, concerts and more.  It's all part of the fun and extraordinary experience of serving Christ.  The upcoming events are below, so take a look.  The best thing to do is pray about where and how you could personally fill a need.  Thank you!

October 14- 17: Fall Sharathon

Family Life's headquarters in Bath is where our Fall Sharathon is held and you can help as we raise the operating expenses for the next six months!

THIS SHARATHON WILL BE DIFFERENT THAN PAST SHARATHONS: Because of the pandemic, some of our usual activities have been cancelled or will be handled without the need for volunteers (the Virtual 5K Race).

We Will Need Kitchen Volunteers - We will offer a drive-through BBQ dinner on Saturday. We will need a small crew of kitchen volunteers on Friday for prep and on Saturday during the day.

To help in the kitchen, email Debbie Fero

We Will Need Phone Operators - These volunteers are blessed to take calls from listeners and hear first hand about how God's ministry is impacting lives. For these volunteers, mandatory training starts one hour prior to your first phone shift.  Phone operators need to be adults who have good telephone skills, a warm, friendly manner, clear speech, sharp hearing ability, and a working knowledge of Family Life. Phone shifts are generally 3 or 4 hours long.
