Family Life Volunteers

Family Life Volunteers!

Second to the grace and favor of God, Family Life volunteers make this ministry happen.  The people who give freely of their time and energy put the backbone in ministry work.  We couldn't do what we do without them.  Their faces light up other faces.  Their hands bring an evening to life.  Their mouths help minister in the hallways.  And their hearts collectively form the heart of Family Life.

Here's what our volunteers have to say about serving:

There are plenty of places and mountains of ways to volunteer.  Fundraisers, dinner events, theater performances, youth events, concerts and more.  It's all part of the fun and unordinary experience of serving Christ.  The upcoming events are below, so take a look.  The best thing to do is pray about where and how you could personally fill a need.  Thank you!

Upcoming Events Where Volunteers Are Needed

October 2 - 4: Fall Sharathon

Family Life's headquarters in Bath will be buzzing with activity for this three-day fundraising event and we need your help! Volunteers come from all over our listening area to be a part of Sharathon. They find out how exciting it is to watch first hand as the Lord provides for His ministry. And you can be a part of it too!

Phone operators are blessed to take calls from listeners and hear first hand about how God's ministry is impacting lives. For these volunteers, mandatory training starts one hour prior to your first phone shift.  Phone operators need to be adults who have good telephone skills, a warm, friendly manner, clear speech, sharp hearing ability, and a working knowledge of Family Life. Phone shifts are generally 3 hours long.

To volunteer as a phone operator, email George Sweatt.

Kitchen volunteers are always blessed to prepare and serve other volunteers, Family Life staff and those who come to visit the Sharathon. They need to be at least 16 years old. No experience is necessary, just a servant's heart.

To volunteer in the kitchen, email Debbie Fero.

Kids Carnival volunteers get to watch the faces of children as they play games and enjoy the fun activities provided. Both adults and teens (at least 16 years old) are invited to volunteer in this area on Friday and Saturday.

To help with the Carnival, email George Sweatt.
