FLM Volunteers

Join the Family Life VIP Team

Second to the grace and favor of God, Family Life volunteers make this ministry happen.  The people who give freely of their time and energy put the backbone in ministry work.  We couldn't do what we do without them.  Their faces light up other faces.  Their hands bring an evening to life.  Their mouths help minister in the hallways.  And their hearts collectively form the heart of Family Life.

There are plenty of places and mountains of ways to volunteer.  Fundraisers, dinner events, theater performances, youth events, concerts and more.  It's all part of the fun and unordinary experience of serving Christ.  The upcoming events are below, so take a look.  The best thing to do is pray about where and how you could personally fill a need.  Thank you!

April 7 - 10: Spring Sharathon

FAMILY LIFE'S SPRING SHARATHON: April 7 - 10 at the Family Life Center in Bath. Volunteers come from all over our listening area to be a part of this four-day fundraising event. They find out how exciting it is to watch first hand as the Lord provides for His ministry.

We need phone operators and kitchen helpers all four days. Phone volunteers must have basic computer skills. Mandatory training starts one hour prior to your first phone shift.  Phone operators need to be adults who have good telephone skills, a warm, friendly manner, clear speech, sharp hearing ability, and a working knowledge of Family Life. Phone shifts are 3 or 3 1/2 hours long.

To volunteer for Phone Central, email Mary Giovinazzo.

For Food Central, there are some really busy shifts where we need a certain number of "experienced" volunteers. Food Central volunteers help with food preparation and service. Teens (at least 14 years old) are also encouraged to serve in Food Central!

To volunteer for Food Central, email Darcie Schwarz.
