SALSA and Kingdom Bound Ministries present a Singles Track at Kingdom Bound 2009. Three Seminars specifically to minister to single adults. All seminars will be at 1:30 PM and will be held in Pavilion 9.

Monday, August 3 - Sherrie Holloway, Associate Professor at Baptist Bible College, PA and keynote speaker at the 2008 SALSA Conference. Sherrie's message theme - "Just like fries with a burger, so too God has given us extras—relationships, possessions, successes, money, etc.—to help us enjoy life even more. But problems arise when we try and turn those extras into necessities. None of those extras will truly satisfy; they only increase my hunger. It is possible however to find what my soul truly craves…Psalm 63 will help show us how."

Tuesday, August 4 - Natalie Thomas, Family Life Network's Mid-day Show Host, will give a seminar that is geared towards single parents. Natalie spent several years as a single parent and is now married to Ed Thomas, FLN's afternoon news anchor. Natalie's message will focus on boundaries - "Boundaries are important guardrails in the life of a Christian and in the lives of children. What happens when your boundaries are not hard limits, for yourself or your kids? And how can you let God determine where the lines are? Natalie will give you an honest and personal account of how boundaries, limits and the lack thereof can impact your life, and the life of your children, and explore what God says about where to draw the lines."

Wednesday, August 5 - Dr. Deone Drake, Singles Pastor of the Chapel at Crosspoint will present a seminar titled “Hey, I’m Thirsty Over Here!” - How unmet needs can make or break the relationships we say we want. Dr. Drake has been the Singles Pastor of The Chapel since 1991. He considers it a privilege to assist single adults capture the vision and passion God has for their lives – through biblical training, Christian fellowship, and service. He and his wife, Pat, have been married since 1984 and have two sons.
