Wednesday, September 28, 2016  (See You At the Pole theme "We Cry Out")

The Psalmist wrote of the cost of a close relationship with God.

Psalm 24:3-4  Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?  Who may stand in His holy place?  The one who has clean hands and a pure heart . . . (NIV)

Today, students all over the world will gather around their school flagpoles at 7 a.m., to pray for each other, their teachers, and their communities.  It's a student-led prayer initiative called, "See You At the Pole".  SYATP began in Texas in 1990, and for 26 years students have encouraged themselves to live for Christ as the school year begins.

This theme verse reflects the heart-desire of these students to live a pure life, keeping short accounts with God -- desiring to be used by Him to the max!  These students are determined to be known as the generation that seeks after God!  That is an example to all of us!!  Take a moment today to pray for these students.
