The prophet Isaiah writes of God's grace and mercy.

Isaiah 43:25  [God said] "I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions, for My own sake, and remembers your sins no more."  (NIV)

God doesn't have amnesia when it comes to your sin.  When you confess and repent of that sin -- He remembers it no more, because He chooses to!  He chooses to love us beyond our sin.

Just as surely as God cannot condone sin -- His heart of love has been moved to extend a  pardon!  The New Testament calls it a gift . . . and you'll never own a gift you have not personally received.  If you realize you have sinned and yearn for forgiveness -- the moment you personally turn from those sins and ask God to let the penalty for your sins to be paid for by the death of His Son -- your sins are forgiven!  (For more on receiving this gift of forgiveness, go to and "click" on the box that asks:  "Do You Know Jesus?")
