The apostle Paul describes true, genuine love.

I Corinthians 13:5 . . . [Love] does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered. (NASB)

These days many Christ-followers are living no differently than the rest of the world.  So, where's the disconnect?  After all, the presence of God's Holy Spirit indwells each Christ-follower as a power source to live pleasing to God!

Sometimes, loving the world as Christ loves it is as simple as that .  .  . getting certain responses out of the way so God's love can be revealed.  Your reactions to the behavior of others can reveal who you are . . . and whose you are!
