The apostle Paul describes what happens when you become a Christ-follower.

Ephesians 2:6 And raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, (NASB)

Before becoming a Christ-follower, you were dead to a relationship with God.  In fact, a sentence of death has been pronounced.  Then in one of the verses prior to this, it says "But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ . . ."  It was your guilt that triggered His mercy!  Now comes your part . . .

The good news of Easter is that you can admit you are a sinner and ask God to forgive those sins and turn your life over to Him -- and you become one with His Son!  2000 years ago when Christ rose from the dead --  that same power can resurrect your spiritual deadness! A lot of moving parts click into place when you become a Christ-follower.
