Youtheatre Collects Rice Bowls

08.20.13 | Darcie Schwarz

rice bowlsRice Bowls, a faith-based organization that works directly with Christian orphanages, is on a mission to feed and nurture orphaned children worldwide. The ministry does this by turning pocket change into food.

How?  Well, the answer is found in - you guessed it! - rice bowls. The bowls are distributed to kids (and adults) for collecting loose change. It’s surprising how quickly the money in pockets, between couch cushions, and on the car floor can add up to considerable sums. That said...

Youtheatre workshop students have raised over $3,500 for Rice Bowls this year! We are beaming with pride!

Congratuations, Youtheatre. We also heartily applaud parents for encouraging their children to be a part of God’s call to feed and provide for the hungry. May your families be blessed as you bless the world with your generous giving.

…Let us not love with words or tongue
but with actions and in truth...
