Youth Action Welcomes New Staff Member

Youth Action is pleased to welcome a new member to the YA team! George Sweatt has been working with Family Life for over a year in the radio department. He hosted the Family Night Favorites request show and is the producer for the Family Hour and Saturday Morning Kids Korner. George will still be working part time for the radio department as producer and announcer, but he will no longer be on air during the week nights, freeing him up to work in Youth Action! We are very excited to have George in YA. George’s passion for youth is second only to his love for Christ. George moved to NY last May from Texas where he served as a youth pastor for 8 years! He is very excited to be working with teens again. This summer George will be our Camp E.D.G.E. director, bringing back Kid’s Camp to Letourneau Christian Center. He will also be helping Katie with the Back Yard Challenges and developing and planning exciting events for this fall. George adds a fun element to YA with his slight of hand tricks and connects really well with youth of all ages.
Youth Action is also looking forward to welcoming a new director in a few weeks!
God is good and we are excited to see where He will lead us!
