Orleans County Sheriff's deputies say the driver of a car that crashed into a school bus on a snow-covered road has died, while the bus driver and four students were taken to a hospital as a precaution. Deputies say 23-year-old Daniel Hollaert Jr. was driving east on Route 104 around 7:40 a.m. Tuesday when he crossed the center line and hit the bus in the rural town of Murray, 25 miles west of Rochester. Hollaert died at the scene. The 72-year-old bus driver and four students from the Kendall Central School District, ranging from 11 to 15 years old, were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with what authorities described as minor injuries.
