Winter Weather Costs NY State

The winter weather is taking a financial toll on towns across the Empire state. State Comptroller Tom Dinapoli says paying for extra supplies and employees has been really tough on municipal budgets. While the state can help towns and villages buy more salt, overtime comes out of local coffers. Dinapoli says that local officials may revise their budgets next year to account for winter weather costs.
