Winter Storm Warnings in NY and PA

Eight to 18 inches of snow is on its way. There are winter storm warnings in more than 100 counties in New York and Pennsylvania. The heaviest hit areas will undoubtedly be the Finger Lakes, from Penn Yan to Bath to Elmira, which could see 12 to 18 inches of snow. The further east you go, snow totals drop, six to eight inches for Binghamton, two to four for Montrose. Parts of the Northern Tier may only get sleet and some snow. The most dangerous travel will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday, overnight, and through Thursday morning.

Bath: 14-18 inches

Penn Yan: 14-18 inches

Elmira: 10-14 inches

Ithaca: 10-14 inches

Cortland: 10-14 inches

Syracuse: 10-14 inches

Binghamton: 6-8 inches

Norwich: 8-10 inches

Utica: 10-14 inches

Oneonta: 6-8 inches

Delhi: 6-8 inches

Monticello: 2-4 inches

 

Pennsylvania areas

Towanda: 6-8 inches

Montrose: 4-6 inches

Wilkes-Barre: 2-4 inches

Hazelton: 2-4 inches
