The heat is so serious the National Weather Service has just issued a heat advisory for New York and Pennsylvania starting at noon on Saturday-- And it won't be lifted until 10 p.m. Monday night.

Excessive heat creates the potential for heat exhaustion and stroke if you're not prepared. Experts say you need to know the signs that you're not well:  sweats, confusion, etc.

Maximum heat values will be between 95 and 100 Saturday afternoon and could top 103 in some cities. On Sunday, the high is predicted at 97 to 105, and some towns could hit 110 degrees.
