We're Entering The Peak of Tick And Lyme Disease In NY, PA

We are now in the worst time of year-- for ticks and Lyme disease-- in Pennsylvania and New York. And the threat could be unusually high, given that experts believe deer ticks benefit from a wet spring like the one we had this year. The Pennsylvania Department of Health last week had no Lyme Disease counts for the state for 2014. Last year, the department counted 5,758 cases, the all-time high for the state, up from 5,033 cases in 2012.
