Vaccines could be mandatory for everyone in NY

Legislation "in the works" in New York could eliminate all exemptions from mandatory childhood vaccinations including religious ones.

New York could follow in the footsteps of states such as California and Vermont in passing legislation that makes a medical reason the only reason to avoid vaccination.

While officials say the anti-vaccination movement is one of the main reasons we’re seeing the resurgence of the illness, Attorney Peter Pullano says it's "a very sensitive issue."  

There's no word yet on when New York may vote on the mandatory childhood vaccination bill.
