Utah Debates Adopting a State Gun

Lawmakers in Utah are discussing a bill that would make the Browning M1911 the official gun for the state. They said that it would be to honor John Browning, a Utah native who invented the gun in 1911. They are receiving a lot of backlash though, since the semiautomatic gun is similar to the one used in the January 8th shootings in Tuscon, Arizona.
