U.S. Supreme Court To Hear Case On Soldier Impostors

The case kicks off Wednesday in the Supreme Court, and it focuses on those who lie about having recieved military medals. At issue is a law called the "Stolen Valor Act" that penalizes people for lying about their involvement in the U.S. military. Opponents say it bans free speech, and turns people into criminals for things they say, rather then what they do. It has long been a federal crime to wear unearned medals, but not to talk about honors you didn't recieve.
