A Rochester soldier has been killed in Afghanistan. 23 Year old Theodore Glende died Friday in Logar province just weeks after he was deployed. He and his unit were attacked by small arms fire. He had only been married for 3 months. His wife, Alexandria, says the team was ambushed, and after the medic in their group was hurt, Theo took orders and tried to help the injured. His family is asking that you make a donation to the wounded warrior project in his honor. Funeral arrangements are pending.
