Two NY Lawmakers That Voted For Gay Marriage Are Still Awaiting Their Fate

There are still no results yet for the two Republican lawmakers that voted in favor of same sex marriage. Will they keep their jobs?The primary last Thursday in New York fired a political warning shot to gop lawmakers across the country. Two of the four veteran and long-secure republican senators who voted for same sex marriage a year ago still await counts of absentee ballots as they sweat it out for the political fight of their lives. We're told it could be weeks before Roy McDonald and Steven Saland know the results. Of the two others, James Alesi retired rather then face re-election, and Mark Grisanti faces an uphill battle with democrats. Lawrence Levy with Hofstra University says the issue is sticky for republicans. He says New York's primary results will get close scrutiny nationwide.
