12.11.09 |
A toy recall is underway at the time of year many children may be expecting to see the items under the Christmas tree. The Consumer Product Safety Commission along with Variety Wholesalers announce a voluntary recall of about 700 Super Rigs Play Sets due to above standard levels of lead. The recall is specifically aimed at the "Super Rig Transport" toy truck with trailer and vehicles. The CPSC and Variety Wholesalers says the packaging is labeled as Item number 67007, made in China.
The bottom of the trailers are coded with the letters and numbers 45TNGO9. The toys were sold at discount stores in the Southeast for about 20-dollars September through October of this year.
