Three Weeks Since The General Election, And NY Still Doesn't Know Who's In Charge At The Senate

There are still no answers yet on who controls the New York State Senate, but we're getting closer. The count of the last 43-hundred absentee ballots in the Senate race entered its final stretch Monday, with election officials tallying the results in Ulster county-- the last of 5 counties to count absentee ballots. The count, within 900 votes as of Tuesday morning, has Republicans on top. If Assemblyman George Amedore beats democrat Cecilia Tkaczyk, it would give Republicans the 32 votes necessary for a 2013 majority. Counting could be wrapped up as soon as tomorrow.
