The PA health department has announced the 12 companies that'll grow and process marijuana for medical use

Just a dozen licenses were awarded out of 400 companies that applied.
Medical marijuana will be available in pill and oil forms only.  No smoke-able pot in Pennsylvania.

Those awarded permits must be operational in six months, or they risk losing their license.

Pro-family forces say this is a slippery slope Pennsylvania is sliding-down.  They fear legalization of the drug, even in medicinal form, could create more problems than it solves.
