The game commission has announced that hunters in Pennsylvania make around 200,000 meals possible every year by giving venison through the Hunters Sharing the Harvest.

The commission has also given $20,000 dollars to the program, which allows donating hunters to avoid paying a charge to cover deer-processing costs.

Hunters Sharing the Harvest set a record during the last deer season with hunters donating 3,337 deer, enough to provide over 667-thousand meals to people in need.
