Due to media publicity, the jurors are being selected from the suburbs of Philadelphia.

It could take weeks for a jury to be picked from a pool of nearly 1,200 people.

Once jurors are chosen, they will be bused to Pike County for the trial, which is set to start April 3rd.

Frein is accused of killing Corporal Bryon Dickson and injuring Trooper Alex Douglass during the ambush on the Blooming Grove barracks in September of 2014.

The 33 year-old survivalist led police on a 48-day manhunt following the shooting.

U.S. marshals captured Frein at an abandoned airport hanger on October 30th, 2014 after the largest manhunt in Pennsylvania history.
