Teachout Still in Primary Race After Residency Case

Zephyr Teachout has survived another attempt by supporters of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to knock her off next month's democratic primary ballot. On Wednesday, a panel of appellate judges upheld a lower court's decision that Teachout is eligible to challenge Cuomo. Cuomo supporters alleged that the law professor didn't meet the five-year residency requirement. Teachout says she moved to New York City in 2009 and that Cuomo wanted to keep her off the ballot to silence opposition.
