Taxpayers Pay Big For Sandusky Trial

The Jerry Sandusky child sex trial has cost Pennsylvania taxpayers 56-thousand-dollars so far. County officials released the numbers, saying most of that tab is from employee overtime. Security was supplied by sheriff's deputies for the 2-week trial and pre-trial court dates. Taxpayers also foot the bill for meals and lodging for the jurors. Sandusky still needs to be sentenced though, so the tab will be a bit higher.
