Super Secret Spy Satellite Launch

The U.S. government is not saying a whole lot about a super secret spy satellite scheduled for launch tonight from Cape Canaveral. The "spook" bird will be put into orbit by the National Reconnaissance Office using a Delta-Four Heavy rocket.

Forecasters are giving the shot a 40-percent chance of favorable launch conditions tonight. Those odds will be bumped to 90-percent if the launch is postponed to Wednesday. Lift-off is currently scheduled for 7:49 p.m. Eastern time.
