A Stanford University study published Monday says former President Bush's' Africa AIDS program saved a million lives. The Stanford School of Medicine says the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief cut HIV-AIDS deaths by ten-percent between 2003 and 2007.

University officials say research compared AIDS infections in a dozen Bush-funded nations and other non-funded countries. Officials say areas which received additional medicines and treatment for the disease experienced fewer deaths.
