Starting Today, You Can Call Him Congressman Murphy

Scott Murphy is headed to Washington for the first time as Congressman-elect today, where he will be sworn in by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Murphy will host a reception afterwards in his new office, the same one occupied by Kirsten Gillibrand when she represented the 20th Congressional District.
The race for the seat finally ended last week when Republican Jim Tedisco conceded the special election to Murphy. Murphy will be sworn in on President Obama's 100th day in office.
