Small Stores In NY To Stay Closed For "Black Thursday"

Even though Walmart, Target, Toys R Us and Kmart are opening Thanksgiving Day, a number of mom and pop stores across upstate new york are bucking the trend, and will not be open Thursday. One example is Jim Hoffman is owner of Netzmann's Appliances in Webster, New York. He told WHAM TV "our families are important to us and I just believe it's a lot more important then the extra money that we would make that day." Netzmann's is one of a number of stores in the state making the decision between family or finances.
