(Hong Kong)  --  Sarah Palin is visiting Hong Kong where she pushed earlier today for stronger ties and trade between the U.S. and China.  The former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate sharply criticized President Obama's administration over spending and imposing duties on Chinese tires.

Speaking before a packed house of financial professionals, Palin underscored China's poor human rights record, but called for a "more robust" relationship overall between the two countries.

The Palin speech also attacked the widening U.S. fiscal deficit and the Obama administration's healthcare reforms.  The former vice-presidential candidate told the audience it is "common sense" to realize the government's attempts to solve large problems like the healthcare challenges more often creates new ones.

Palin said, "If you want real job growth, you cut taxes and reduce marginal tax rates on all Americans, cut payroll taxes, eliminate capital gains taxes, slay the death tax" she said.  "Get federal spending under control then step back and watch the U.S. economy roar back to life."
