Bones discovered in an ancient Bulgarian church could belong to John the Baptist.  The claim is made by researcher Thomas Higham of the University of Oxford.  He says the handful of bones were discovered in a sarcophagus bearing an inscription of St. John the Baptist's name.  Radiocarbon dating of one of the bones finds the age to be early first century. The discovery will be detailed in a documentary airing this sunday on the National Geographic Channel.
