The analysis of campaign finance records by the Philadelphia Inquirer, and Daily News, and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette notes those funds came from attorneys and law firms involved in the secret grand jury report on sexual abuse by catholic priests across the Keystone State.

Justice Deborah Todd has publicly acknowledged receiving such contributions last year.

Yesterday, Justice Sallie Updyke Mundy filed a similar disclosure.

The state justices are weighing whether to order the public release of the priest abuse report.
