It comes after photos of a murdered central New York teenager were shared on various online platforms.

On Monday, Brindisi joined the family of Bianca Devins, who was murdered last summer in Utica, to announce the creation of Bianca's Law"

The congressman from New York says no family should ever have to have the trauma of losing a child "exploited on social media."

Bianca's Law requires Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat establish a task force that's sole purpose is to identify and remove violent and graphic content.

The state attorney general would have the authority to enforce these requirements and impose penalties on companies if they do not comply.
